About the role
Job Overview: Facade Structural Engineer with expertise in analysing and modelling various facade elements including aluminium extrusions, glass, and solid sheets using advanced finite element analysis (FEA) techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in the facade consultancy or construction sector and be proficient in using industry-standard software such as SolidWorks Simulation, STAAD, Flixo, and other FEA applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Analysis:
Perform detailed structural analysis of facade elements, primarily focusing on aluminium extrusions, glass, and solid sheets to ensure they meet load, stress, and aesthetic requirements.
- Finite Element Analysis and Modelling:

- Develop finite element models to simulate the structural behaviour of facade components under various conditions.
- Use FEA software to predict how complex structures behave under loads, vibrations, and other physical effects.
- Software Proficiency:
Utilize SolidWorks Simulation, STAAD, Flixo, and other relevant FEA applications to optimize designs and validate structural integrity.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
